Aki is originally from Japan.  Her ancestors honored spirituality and universal energy, and developed eastern medicine.  Her journey began when she left her native land to come to the United States.

She landed in Arizona, home to the native american Cocopa indians. There, she met shamanist  Ella Shiff.  Ella was Aki's first teacher of spiritual work, from which her interest in natural healing bloomed.

Aki moved to NYC and worked in the Medical field for ten years, before meeting Dr. Barnaby Ruhe (a professor at NYU), who teaches Shamanism. From Dr. Ruhe, Aki learned another healing art and connected further with her own spirit. at NY open center she lerned Tai-chi, qigong, and meditation. Also being an active artist in New York city.

After 9/11, 2001, her deep sadness and grief guided her to promise to learn more Holistic Healing for herself and others.
Years later, she moved to beautiful Marin County to begin her studies, and since then, her life has changed completely in a wonderful way.
